Would you like to do something different on your holiday in Crete? Walking with donkeys is fun. If walking is not for you spend an hour or so of your holiday on our donkey farm. Your children can stroke the rabbit, ride a donkey or just have a picnic.

We are a self-financing donkey shelter for unwanted donkeys in the area of Ierapetra south east Crete. We offer walking with donkeys and donkey rides for children. We also offer help and support to donkey owners in the villages of the area.

Our walking holidays in Crete come with the addition of delightful donkeys to carry the picnic and tired children.

Get away from the bustle of mass tourism  of the coastal areas and walk with our donkeys in the Crete mountains. It is a unique and magical experience.

Donkeys are wonderful companions for adults and children alike. Not only do they carry the picnic, rucksacks and tired children but they make us laugh.

Enjoy the total peace quiet and wonders of the mountains. Walking at the gentle pace of the donkey there is no need to rush.

Based in the mountains of South East Crete our walks take us into the remote and beautiful areas between the villages of Males, Anatoli and Kalamafka.
