We can also provide a donkey for the children to ride.

SAMPLE ITINERARY
DAY 1
Meet the donkeys at our farm at a time suitable to yourselves. Enjoy a short walk (2 hours approx) to a deserted village
DAY 2
Round trip walk of approx 13kms through the ‘meteora’ of Crete. Marvel at amazing rock formations and picnic at ancient church of Agios Giorgos.
DAY 3
Walk from village of Anatoli to Males on old donkey tracks and paths. Pass by a small colony of huge griffon vultures who will no doubt put on a fantastic flying display. This walk will take about 5 hours with a stop for our picnic lunch.
DAY 4
A day of rest for the donkeys and you. The beautiful beaches are only a short drive away.
DAY 5
A longer walk to the forest of Selakano. One of the last remaining forests on Crete. Lunch today will be taking at a traditional cafenion in the forest village before walking back to Males.
DAY 6
A free day for you to relax and the donkeys to have a lie down.
DAY 7
Leave Males to return the donkeys to their friends in Anatoli. We will take a different route walking through olive fields and vineyards.
